Season 11 of Melodia Song Contest was hosted in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The winning country was
Portugal, represented by Sofia Camara with their song "Who Do I Call Now?". They scored a total of 132 points in the Grand Final. The runner-up was
India with 127 points.
Information
Due to an influx of new members, it was decided to raise the participant limit to 37 and introduce Semi-Finals to the contest.
The Top 5 from each edition would automatically qualify to the Grand Final of the next edition. The other 32 participants would be split in half between two Semi-Finals. The top 10 in each final would qualify, whilst the 11th-placed countries would face off in a public vote to be the wildcard selected to qualify.

Contest Overview
Semi-Final allocation draw
The draw to determine which semi-finals each non-automatic qualifier country would compete in took place on the 29th September 2024. The 32 participants were spread across 5 pots based off of their delegates voting history. Pot 1 acted as a 'newcomer & wildcard' pot, for miscellaneous and new participants.
Semi-Final 1
16 countries competed in the first semi-final. Those countries plus Brazil, Cuba and Indonesia voted. 10 countries qualified for the final, with the United States moving into the wildcard stage.
Semi-Final 2
16 countries competed in the first semi-final. Those countries plus Argentina and Slovakia voted. 10 countries qualified for the final, with the Moldova moving into the wildcard stage.
Wildcard Round
The United States was declared the winner after earning the higher percentage of votes to progress.

Grand Final
26 countries participated in the Grand Final. Every participating country voted in this round. Portugal was the winner with 132 points, followed by India with 127 points and North Korea with 126 points. Guam ended in the last place with 21 points.
