Season 2 of Melodia Song Contest was hosted in Lugano, Switzerland. The winning country was Australia, represented by Vera Blue with her song "All The Pretty Girls". They scored a total of 89 points in the Grand Final. They managed to beat the runner-up
EVERGLOW with SLAY by just one point.
Information
After Switzerland won the first season of Melodia Song Contest: Reimagined, it was announced that Lugano, Switzerland would host the second season of the contest. Cornaredo Stadium was chosen as the venue for the contest. The first winning song's name would become the slogan for the edition: Speak Up. Claiming opened on the December 31st, 2023, the last day of the year. Six days of claiming later, 19 hopefuls decided to compete for the title.
There were 5 national selections this edition. Schweiz Selects was used once again to decide the Swiss entrant that would follow DANA's successful run. After South Korea's failed attempt to finish in the top 10 last edition, the HoD created MNEXT, a national final that called for the next South Korean artist to represent the Asian country.
