Information
After Switzerland won the first season of Melodia Song Contest: Reimagined, it was announced that Lugano, Switzerland would host the second season of the contest. Cornaredo Stadium was chosen as the venue for the contest. The first winning song's name, Speak Up, would become the slogan for the edition. There were 5 national selections this edition. Schweiz Selects was used once again to decide the Swiss entrant that would follow DANA's successful run. After South Korea's failed attempt to finish in the top 10 last edition, the HoD created

Melodex to find the American voice for MSC Reimagined. In Oceania,
Australia and
New Zealand would find themselves hosting their own respective selections, the winner of the former becoming the contest's next crown jewel. The other 14 countries would opt for internal selections.
