On the night of the show which was held on February 7th, faulty votes were recieved from Makokou and the whole results show was wrong. Nevertheless, they didn't change the winner and the results were corrected later that night. All paticipants got punctations higher or equal to 40 which was very remarkable and heartwarming. Emma'a won the final with 64 points, taking first place with her song "Encré" and winning the right to sing in the representation of Gabon on '''Melodia: Reimagined: Season 3'''. Anais Cardot with "Can't Explain" recieved only one point less and got second place which dissapointed a lot of Melodia fans. Evy finished on the 3rd place with "Petit" with still very impressive 56 points. Emma'a with her entry "Petit". Pamela Badjogo finished 4th for the second time with "Ngoka". The two other debutants got 40 points, but eventually, Uriel was rewarded the 5th place for having more (3) maximal punctations.
On the night of the show, faulty votes were Jeune VILI ft. Diane Dddd scored an impressive 31 points, taking first place with their song "ADESANYA" and winning the right to fly the Gabonese flag at '''MSC Reimagined 1'''. EVY followed them in second place with a less incredible but still remarkable 18 points with her song "Fucking Love." Emma'a with her entry "Serré" placed third with only one point less and Pamela Badjogo ended the competition with 11 points on the fourth place, thus securing her the only place left for the next edition of the show.

Eventually, Jeune VILI ft. Diane Dddd's "ADESANYA" would go on to finish fifth at '''MSC Reimagined 1''', scoring a total of 70 points from fourteen different countries, the same making the first top 5 finish for toniaczka.
We hope all the best for Emma'a in the upcoming Grand Final of '''Season 3'''.

Information

Gabangers Festival 3 was started by user toniaczka on January 28th, 2024 as a continuation of the Gabangers Festival series, which were first hosted in Legacy Melodia. Eight artists with 6 songs took part this edition, they were - by the running order - a trio consisting of debuting artists: Pablito Traducteur, La Santi Lova and Zixx Mojo, a French-Gabonese debutant Anais Cardot, returning artist Emma'a (3rd place in GF 2), another young debutant Uriel Mbela, last-edition-second-place-winner Evy and returning Pamela Badjogo with their respective songs. It was the first edition of the show that featured votes from cities all around Gabon and neighbouring countries (idea was taken from MNEXT with Ren's approval). This tactic attracted a whooping 14 voters which was 10 more than last edition and made history by being the highest number of voters in Melodia ever. The show was held in Franceville, one of the most important manganese mining hotspots of the world.

Cities and Voting

A total of 14 cities took part in voting in this edition of Gabangers. Every city had 20 points to give to the artists according to their citizens' will. It's important to say that Libreville and Franceville as the capital and the host city gave away 25 points. 2 of the cities were foreign guest judges, this edition they were Bata in Equatorial Guinea and Kinshasa of the DRC. The cities were as follows:

On the night of the show which was held on February 7th, faulty votes were recieved from Makokou and the whole results show was wrong. Nevertheless, they didn't change the winner and the results were corrected later that night. All paticipants got punctations higher or equal to 40 which was very remarkable and heartwarming. Emma'a won the final with 64 points, taking first place with her song "Encré" and winning the right to sing in the representation of Gabon on Melodia: Reimagined: Season 3. We hope all the best for Emma'a in the upcoming Grand Final of Season 3.
